INCREASES FOR CABINET RECOMMENDED (Received December 6, 6.30 p.m.) LONDON, December 5. The Free State Ministerial Salaries Committee recommends the following increases: The President: £5OOO and £lO,OOO in allowances. The Prime Minister: From £2500 to £3OOO. Deputy Prime Minister: From £l7OO to £2500. The Speaker and Ministers:. From £1750 to £2250. Parliamentary secretaries: £l2OO to £l4OO. J J f ! Pensions were recommended as totlows: Former Presidents: £l2OO. Former Ministers: £3OO to £5OO. Widows: £250.
