BALLOT IN HAWKES BAY (United Press Association) HASTINGS, December 4. The ballot recently held by the Federation of Labour to decide the jurisdiction of .the Hawke’s Bay General Labourers’ Union resulted: In favour of the continuation of the Hawke’s Bay Union affiliated to the Federation of General Labourers, 367; in favour of the Wellington General Labourers’ Union with a branch office in Hawke’s Bay, 202. This means that the local .union will have sole jurisdiction in Hawke’s Bay of all labourers working under awards to which the Hawke’s Bay Union is a party. ___________
