For the New Brighton Trotting Club’s meeting the weather was fine after rain overnight. The track was good, and the attendance good. The totalizator handled £27,267, compared with £22,080 last year. Results:—

Sailed in a spanking north-easterly breeze, the fourth Sanders Cup trial yesterday resulted in an easy win for the Eileen. Vai was second, only five seconds ahead of Lynette. Eileen has now won two races, and Lynette and Vai one each.
