STEPS TO INVALIDATE ALBERTA LAWS
OTTAWA SEEKS RULING ON POWERS (Received October 31, 6.30 p.m.) OTTAWA, October 30. The Canadian Government has agreed to secure a ruling by the Supreme Court on its powers to disallow bank licensing, bank taxation and Press control legislation introduced in Alberta by the Social Credit Premier, Mr W. Aberhart.
