JEAN BATTEN’S PLANE OVERHAULED
PLANS NOT REVEALED (Received September 17, 9.55 p.m.) SYDNEY, September 17. The Sun says that Miss Jean Batten’s Percival Gull machine has been thoroughly overhauled and the certificate of airworthiness was renewed today, but Miss Batten declined to reveal her plans.
