CAR COLLIDES WITH CYCLIST A motor-car, driven by Allan Basil Langmuir, of Timaru, collided with a cyclist, George Alfred Aitken, of Otatara, at the intersection of Elies road and Tweed street at 9.20 o’clock last evening. The cyclist suffered abrasions to his left hand and Evelyn Toole, of Invercargill, who was a passenger on the bar of the bicycle, suffered from shock. Knocked down in Jervofs Quay by a lorry this afternoon, W. Hicks, a boy, aged 14 years, of 151 Hobart street, Miramar, received severe head and internal injuries. He was taken to hospital in a serious condition at 4.50 p.m. and died at 9.30 p.m.
