HISTORIC HUT TO BE DEMOLISHED

LONDON, September 15. After over 1000 years a historic mud and wattle hut built by St. Dunstan near Glastonbury Abbey, which is still inhabited, has been condemned by a sanitary inspector, and its demolition has been ordered because of the dilapidation of the thatched roof. It was while inhabiting the hut that St. Dunstan began the rebuilding of the abbey after it had been damaged by the Danes.
