MINISTERIAL VISIT

ITINERARY OF HON. F. LANGSTONE The Minister of Lands (the Hon. F. Langstone) has advised Mr J. Hargest, M.P., that he is leaving Wellington tomorrow evening on a visit to Southland. He will arrive at Gore on Saturday night and hear deputations. At 8.30 a.m. on Monday, April 26, he leaves Gore for" an inspection of Lora Gorge and Forest Hill lands and proceeds to Winton in time for lunch. Following any deputations at Winton he will proceed to Otautau and Riverton. The Minister expects to arrive at Invercargill on the evening of Tuesday, April 27, and on the morning of Wednesday will visit Bluff and meet local bodies, returning to Invercargill in the afternoon. On Thursday, April 29, he will leave early for Balclutha, via the Tokanui road. The Hon. T. F. Doyle, M.L.C., is arranging Invercargill deputations on behalf of Mr W. M. C. Denham, M.P., who is in Australia.
