LODGE REGALIA STOLEN
VALUED AT ABOUT £l7 (United Press Association) AUCKLAND, April 21. Regalia to the value of about £l7, two overcoats and a hat, were stolen from a motor-car owned by Mr A. E. L. Dodd, District Deputy Grand Master of the Waitemata District of the Independent Order of Oddfellows, when the vehicle was left parked outside the Henderson Town Hall late on Tuesday night. The car was a closed sedan model. The rear window was broken and the property reached through the opening. The regalia consisted of three collars and three jewels. Mr Dodd placed them in his car immediately after the installation ceremony at which he was officiating. The jewel of the District Deputy Grand Master was most valuable, being of engraved silver.
