APPOINTMENT OF COMMISSIONER. GOVERNMENTS ACTION APPRECIATED. (Per United Press Association.) Wellington, June 17. Appreciation of the Government’s action in appointing a New Zealand Trade Commissioner at Brussels was expressed to-day by M. Nihotte, Consul for Belgium in the Dominion. He said that trade was considerable between the two countries and probably would be increased as a result of the appointment. New Zealand apples offered by auction at Antwerp in April realized about 10/- a case, and there should be a good demand for them there at the present time of the year.
