MANSLAUGHTER CHARGE
SEQUEL TO COLLISION. (Per United Press Association.) New Plymouth, June 17. Charged with manslaughter, David Vincent Roguski, of Okato, was committed to the Supreme Court for trial. He was granted bail. The charge arose from a collision between a motor cycle and Roguski’s stationary lorry. The rider of the cycle, Stanley Carlyon, died soon after tne smash. It was alleged that the lorry was left parked without lights with the rear protruding across the road. Roguski’s explanation was that the gears of the lorry locked and he was unable to move the vehicle.
