THEFTS ALLEGED
YOUNG MAN CHARGED.
(Per United Press Association.) Hamilton, June 13.
Cyril Ernest Bates, aged 19, appeared in the Hamilton Magistrates Court this morning charged with the theft of a cash-box containing 15/from a shop in London street last evening. , “ In asking for a remand till Monday, Detective-Sergeant Thomson said the accused had been arrested in the Frankton Station last night and would be later charged with the theft of money from the Hamilton East Rost Office, an offence which the accused allegedly committed prior to breaking into the London street premises.
