BOILER EXPLODES
ACCIDENT ON SHIP.
TWO SAILORS KILLED.
(United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) (Rec. 7.15 p.m.) London, June 12. Two Finnish sailors, Mustonen and Hellstrom, were killed when a donkey engine boiler aboard the Herzogin Cecile, discharging at Belfast, exploded, the boiler being blown through the main deck 300 feet into the air to the quay where it struck and injured the second mate, Lendholm. The galley was shattered by the explosion, injuring the ship’s cook, Laine, and a dock worker, Croghan, who raced to shelter across the deck and was struck down by flying iron and wood. , ~ „ , Captain Ericson, whose birthday was to-day, had just left the boiler house for his cabin when he heard the explosion. He dashed out and saw the boiler in the air. Many others had narrow escapes.
