MR FORBES’S TOUR
INDUSTRIAL PROGRESS NOTED.
AEROPLANE WORKS INSPECTED.

The Rt. Hon. G. W. Forbes is continuing his inspections of scientific and industrial progress. He visited the entomological section of the College of Science and Technology and saw parasites which are being despatched to New Zealand in the hope of exterminating the white butterfly. ' Mr Forbes inspected a cocktailmakers’ factory at Slough which each year imports 8000 gallons of New Zealand passion fruit juice to serve as an ingredient in the cocktail which recently won the British Empire cham-to-day visited the Vickers aeroplane works at Brooklands and saw a demonstration of the Vildebeeste planes which New Zealand has ordered.
