DRESS REHEARSAL
THE ALDERSHOT TATTOO. LORRY CATCHES FIRE. (British Official Wireless.) Rugby, June 11. Sixty thousand children this afternoon watched a dress rehearsal of the Aidershot Tattoo in the Rushmoor Arena. The Duke of Connaught, the Duchess of York and the two little Princesses were also present. Shortly before the performance began an Army lorry loaded with fireworks caught fire and the children much enjoyed a pyrotechnic display not on the programme. No one was hurt, but the lorry was destroyed.
