BEQUESTS UNDER WILLS

DUNEDIN INSTITUTIONS BENEFIT. (Per United Press Association.) Dunedin, June 11. Under the will of the late Katherine Begg, of Roslyn, whose estate has been sworn at £70,000, the sum of £750 will become available to the Presbyterian Church for its mission and several service works. _ The following institutions will benefit: Home Missions Fund, Presbyterian Church, £259; Foreign Missions Fund, £250; Presbyterian Social Service Association, £250. Under the will of Mrs Margaret Gordon, of Opoho, whose estate is valued at £9OOO, a bequest of £5OO is made to the Baptist Union of New Zealand for the Benefit Building Fund of North-East Valley Baptist Church. After sundry private bequests, the residue of the estate will be divided equally among the following institutions: Patients and Prisoners Aid Society; Presbyterian Social Service Association; Salvation Army, Dunedin; Returned Soldiers’ Association for the benefit of returned soldiers requiring assistance and their dependents and the Children’s Rest Home.
