DUNEDIN COMPETITIONS.
Following are the results of the championships and other special events at the successful competitions of the Otago Centre of the Piping and Dancing Association of New Zealand, concluded in Dunedin this week. Otago Champion Piper (all comers). The Charles Begg Cup and the Otago championship certificate.—Kenneth Cameron, total in four events. 337 marks, 1; R. MacKenzie, 324, 2; N. Stratton, 3; W. J. Budge, 4; W. J. Milne 5. Most Points for Girls’ Dancing (under 10 years). Ina Bruce Cup.—Beth Allington 1. Most Points for Boys’ Dancing (under 12 years). The K.P. Cup.—M. MacKellar. The Austen Memorial Cup for Girls’ Dancing (under 12 years).—N. Stewart. New Zealand Championship for Sean Truibhais. (for girls under 15 years). The David Ross Memorial.—Margaret MacMillan. ■ . ■' The Teacher Shield for Boys’ Danding (under 18 years).—M. MacKellar. ’fhe Dewar Cup, for Highland Fling (girls any age).—P. Atkinson. The Speight Rose Bowl, for most points Girls’ Dancing (any age).— Gladys Doran. All the successful pipers at Dunedin are to compete at the Invercargill competitions to-morrow.
