ISOLATED TRAINS

RAIN AND SNOW CONDITIONS. CANADIAN RAILWAYMEN KILLED. (United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) (Rec. 5.5 p.m.) Vancouver, January 25. Continued rain and snowslides to-day further delayed the workers who are endeavouring to reach the isolated trains. Three men were killed when a Government relief camp was struck by an avalanche on the main line of the Canadian Pacific railway. Three men met at a similar fate in the Nelson district. Nine other deaths are reported from exposure. Numerous families have been removed from the low-lying lands.
