TERRIFIC EXPLOSION

PREMISES PARTIALLY WRECKED.

(United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) (Rec. 10.45 p.m.) Hobart, January 24. A terrific explosion, heard in all parts of the city, partially wrecked the premises occupied by the Port Huon Fruitgrowers’ Co-operative Association early to-day. The affair is a complete mystery. The entrance doors of the building were flung into the streets and part of the interior wrecked. Every window was smashed, but there was no evidence of theft.
