CHAIR APPOINTMENTS.
(Per United Press Association.) Wellington, November 7. Victoria University College Chair appointments were announced to-day as follows:— History: F. L. W. Wood, 8.A., Sydney, M.A., Oxford. Mathematics: F. F. Miles, M.A., New Zealand, M.A., Oxford, Diploma of Education, New Zealand. English and New Zealand Law: J. Williams, L.L.M., New Zealand, Ph.D., Cambridge. Mr Wood is Lecturer in History at Sydney; Mr Miles has been carrying on Mathematics at Victoria College, while Mr Williams went Home in 1930 on a travelling scholarship and has been engaged on research.
