FERRY STEAMER INCIDENT.

(United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) Sydney, November 7. Edward Chisholm, the secretary of a city firm, who was attacked on a ferry steamer yesterday, is improving. He has made a second statement to the police, who have officially stated that they will not inquire further.

A previous message stated that Chisholm was brutally attacked on a harbour ferry and robbed of £llOO. He was then thrown into the harbour by his attackers. Chisholm was able to keep afloat and his cries for help were heard by the ferry crew on its return trip to the city. Fifteen minutes later Chisholm was admitted to hospital with a fractured skull.
