In their first match appearance in Australia to-day the American professional golfers beat Queensland by five matches to nil, two being halved. Results: — D. Shute (America) beat H. Sinclair (Queensland), 3 and 2. H. Cooper (America) and A. Denham (Queensland), all square. P. Runyan (America) beat Quarton (Queensland), 2 and 1. K. Laffoon (America) beat Gazzard (Queensland), 6 and 5. L. Deigel (America) and C. Brown (Queensland), all square. Craig Wood (America) beat Walker (Queensland), 4 and 2. Shute and Deigel beat Walker and Brown, 6 and 5.
