PLOT IN RUMANIA
PLANS TO KIDNAP KING. (United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) (Rec. 7 p.m.) London, April 10. Messages via Vienna state that despite a censorship it is learned that hundreds of arrests have been made in Bucharest and other cities in connection with a military plot to kidnap King Carol during a service in the cathedral on Sunday and proclaim a new regime. The plot also concerned Madame Lupcscu, the King’s favourite, who is closely guarded.
