STILL MILLIONS WORKLESS.

The first comprehensive . survey of re-employment and business gains under Mr Roosevelt’s new deal during 1933 vzas issued by the American Federation of Labour to-day. It declared that 6,400,000 unemployed had been removed from the relief rolls. Private enterprise had absorbed 1,800,000 and the remainder had been given authority for employment either on public or civil works. It issued a warning, however, that between 8,000,000 and 10,000,000 were still unemployed and business was still 30 per cent, below normal.
