Mrs Swap, and Miss M. Swap, Merrivale road, are spending a fortnight’s holiday at the Rocks. Mr and Mrs Meek, Oamaru, were the guests of Mr and Mrs F. J. Collie, Bayswater, during the holidays. Mrs Chandler and family are visiting friends at the Bluff.
Miss Potterton, Thames, is the guest of Nurse Potterton.
Mrs Angus and Miss Alison Angus left during the week to spend a holiday with friends at Motueka, Nelson. Miss Burgoyne and Mr Burgoyne, Kaikoura, are the guests of Mr and Mrs G. Sinclair.
Miss Winnie Cairns, Invercargill, was the guest of Misses E. and A. Matheson for a few days during the week. Mr and Mrs J. Low, who have been visiting Mr and Mrs J. Low, sen., returned to Dunedin on Tuesday. Miss Marjory Brass was home for the holidays. Misses E. and A. Matheson were the guests of Miss Alice Egan, Wairio, for the week-end. Dr and Mrs Fergus, Dunedin, are the guests of Mr and Mrs A. Kennedy, “Studleigh,” and Mr and Mrs J. Grant, Bayswater. Mrs G. Williams and family are spending a few days at the Bluff. Miss Woodward, Invercargill, was the guest of the Misses Duncan for a few days. Mrs S. H. Herron and Miss Bessie Walker are spending a few days with Mrs Herron, Greenvale. Messrs Cliff Hill and H. Summers left on a cycling tour last week, their destination being Christchurch. Master Len Allen, Rakaia, spent a few days with Mr and Mrs A. Beange during the holidays. Mr and Mrs R. Manson, Waipiata, who have been the guests of Mrs Dahlenburg, Waikouro, left by motor for home on Saturday. Mr and Mrs D. Scott-Brown and family, Hokonui, were the guests of Mr and Mrs John Muir, “Model Farm,” for the holidays.
