WRIGHTS BUSH NOTES
PERSONAL. (From Our Correspondent). Miss Findlay and Miss E. Findlay are spending a holiday in Wrights Bush as the guests of Mrs T. H. Anderson. Mrs Thomson, Dunedin, spent the New Year with her daughter, Mrs T. H. Anderson. Mr Hay, Christchurch, is visiting his daughter Mrs A. F. Scott, Wrights Bush. Miss Pearl Hagerty, Christchurch, is the guest of Mrs A. E. Scott. Miss M. Scott has been holidaying at The Rocks. On Saturday evening the Wrights Bush Excelsior Cycle Club held their sports meeting. Following are the results: One mile.—E. Hogg 1, S. Grieve 2. One and a half miles.—S. Grieve 1, S. Bruland 2. A dance was held in the evening, excellent music being supplied by Mrs Toole. Mr J. Meehan ably carried out the duties of M.C.
