The following officers of the New Zealand Grain, Seed and Produce Merchants’ Federation were elected at the annual general meeting which concluded to-day: President, Mr L. G. K. H. Widdowson (Oamaru), Messrs R. Rutherford (Gore), F. L. Smith (Ashburton), F. T. Hale (Stratford), A. E. Birch (Wellington); Grading committee, Messrs V. V. McPhail (chairman), A. W. Cousens, G. A. Rowe, W. G. Smith and J. J. Corry; amendment committee, Messrs C. H. Hewlett and J. B. Waters; Appeal Board, Messrs G. Fleetwood, J. Y. Allan, G. Royds, R. J. Lyon and A. J.
