RELIEF CAMP WORKERS
STRIKE OVER MORNING AND AFTERNOON TEA. (Per United Press Association.) Wellington, October 26. For about a week the single men in the relief camp at Papaparoumu have been on strike. It is stated that the quantity of tea for morning and afternoon tea has gradually been increased until it is more per man than any other camp and the trouble is alleged to have commenced when this supply was The matter is being investigated to-day by the Public Works Department. Meanwhile the men are being fed but not paid.
