CROCODILE’S MEAL
QUEENSLAND MAIL MAN’S HORSE. A TERRIFYING EXPERIENCE. (United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copjrlght.) Brisbane, May 6. A North Queensland mail man had a terrifying experience when a crocodile took his horse while crossing a river between Ingham and the Valley of Lagoons. The mail man was swimming alongside his horse with his hand on the withers when the animal was dragged under and not seen again.
