MURIHIKU CUP MATCH. WON BY HOKONUI. A rink from the Hokonui Club on Thursday night played the Edendale rink,' holders of the Murihiku Cup, for possession of the trophy. Conditions were ideal and the green was in splendid order, some very fine bowling by both sides being witnessed by the large number of spectators present. The scores throughout were very even until the 17th head, when a four to Hokonui gave it a commanding position, and it eventually ran out the winner by 23 to 18. Following were the scores:— E. H. Hickey, Chaplin, Irvine, Papps. 18 — Leishman, Parsons, Martin, Crawford — 23 The visitor'.’ were hospitably entertained by the Edendale bowlers and fraternal greetings were exchanged by Messrs Papps and Crawford.
