COUNTRY PARTY MAY BE REPRESENTED.
(United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) (Rec. 7.45 p.m.) Canberra, October 7. Unofficial negotiations are going on with the Country Party concerning two vacancies in the Federal Cabinet due to the resignations of Mr C. A. S. Hawker and Mr J. E. Fenton, and it is understood that there is an increased possibility that the Party will be represented in the Cabinet. An announcement is expected after the weekend.
