OTTAWA CONCESSIONS
ANNOUNCEMENT NEXT MONTH. (United Press Assn-—Telegraph Copyright.) (Rec. 12.55 a.m.) Sydney, September 32. Mr H. S. Gillett, Minister of Trade and Customs, in the course of an interview on the Ottawa Conference, said October 13 had been fixed by arrangement with the British Government for announcing the tariff concessions which Australia would make on British manufactured goods, and a simultaneous announcement was being made of the restrictions which Britain agreed to impose upon imports of meat from Argentina.
