PARAGUAYAN SUCCESS
BOLIVIAN TRENCHES CAPTURED.
(United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) (Rec. 7.0 p.m.) Asuncion, September 22. An army communique on Thursday night announced that Paraguayan troops had taken a hundred metres of Bolivian trenches in the Chaco region and that 72 Bolivians were killed. This is the first definite announcement of casualties in nearly two weeks’ struggle for possession of the strategic Fort Boqueron.
