FLYERS MARRIED

MOLLISON AND MISS JOHNSON. CEREMONY IN LONDON. (United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) (Rec. 12.30 a.m.) London, July 29. Mr J. A. Mollison and Miss Amy Johnson were married at St. Georges, Hanover Square. Kathleen Countess of Drogheda, a pioneer airwomen, gave the bride away. Lieut.-Colonel F. C. Shelmerdine, Director of Civil Aviation, was best man. Mr Mollison wore a grey lounge suit, and Miss Johnson was simply dressed in black. A great crowd of admirers mobbed the couple on leaving the church. Miss Johnson’s parents arrived too late for the wedding. She says she and her husband are determined that neither will interfere with the other’s flying plans. Mr Mollison, when he makes his return flight across the Atlantic, will fly with his wife in slow stages to Australia.
