STATE OF THE RIVERS
INFORMATION FOR ANGLERS. Messrs A. and W. Hamilton report the state of the rivers at mid-day yesterday to be as follows: Oreti—Normal and clear. Aparima—ln good order. Orawia —Low and clear. Makarewa—Normal. Mataura —In good order. Otapiri and Lora —Low and clear. It is possible that by to-day the rain may have affected some of the streams. A report on the slate of the rivers will appear again on Saturday.
