SEVENTH DAY ADVENTIST PROPAGANDA.

To the Editor. Sir, —"Lover of Truth” has made another mistake in his definition. “Malice” means: “enmity of heart; malevolence; ill-will; a spirit delighting in harm or misfortune to another; a maligant design of evil.” IT IS NOT MALICOUS to point out how Protestant missions which have been in the field for many years are seriously hindered in their work by S.D.A. mission, which, equipped doubtless with the latest healing appliances, staffed by skilled workers, and backed by the financial resources of a huge commercial undertaking, are later established alongside them. IT IS NOT MALICIOUS to press any S.D.A. teacher to define accur ately the meaning of the terms upon which he bases his faith and teaching, NOR to show whether “Lover of Truth” IS a lover of truth: or not by forcing him to admit that he cannot admit a position that cannot be supported by facts. It has sometimes been said that a lawyer never makes an admission. When he is arguing for a client that- might sometimes be true, but if he argues for the TRUTH, for the sake of truth, he is subject to truth and would make any admission of error whatever, provided the proof was sufficient according to the rules of evidence. It is inconceivable that he could do otherwise. IT .IS NOT MALICIOUS io point out that the amount of wages, etc., paid to S.D.A. employees does not alter the fact that S.D. Aism is a “limited liability company,” NOR to point out that the loss on a sanatorium in Sydney has nothing to do with the case, NOR to point out that presumably there is probably a loss on every hospital in the mission field, NOR to point out that the S.D.A. Limited Liability Co. can meet the loss, NOR to point out that these S.D.A. hospitals and medical work are a smoke-screen hiding from public atten tion the spiritual hindrance of S.D. Aism. IT IS NOT MALICIOUS to bring S.D. Aism under the searchlight of Truth so as to help the public to appreciate exactly what are the activities of S.D. Aism in business, philanthropy and spiritual hindrance. IT IS NOT MALICIOUS to urge and warn as many as possible, but especially those who have been deluded by S.D. Aism that if the term "LAW” be properly defined according to the rules of evidence recognized by all real students of the Bible, the case for S.D. Aism will collapse like a house of cards. Finally IT IS NOT MALIC lOUS to repeat that if Christian ministers, Bible class leaders, and Sunday school teachers would busy themselves about. REAL study of the Bible and its relationship to error, S.D. Aism and other cults would experience a bad time and would doubtless soon be overthrown. —I am, etc., FRANK SAMPSON.
