OPPOSITION IN AUSTRALIA. TASMANIAN REQUEST. (United Press Assn.—By Telegraph—Copyright.) Melbourne, March 21. Declaring its opposition to the Financial Agreement Enforcement Act, the Tasmanian Government is seeking leave to intervene against the Commonwealth Government which is resisting the New South Wales application for an injunction to restrain the enforcement, of this Act against the Lang Administration. The Tasmanian Government has asked the Victorian and other Governments for cooperation. It is announced that the Victorian Government has decided to apply to the High Court for leave to intervene in the action New South Wales v. the Commonwealth.
