COLLECTION ON FRIDAY. FURTHER AMOUNTS RECEIVED. On Saturday morning several additional returns were received in connection with the collection organized by’ the Southland Social Helpers’ Association on Friday. Further sums of £1 3/- from Mataura and £1 1/1 from Menzies Ferry' were received as well as £1 7/3 from town stations. Ten shillings was received from the North Invercargill School station and £5 11/6 from the North Invercargill District, which was under the care of Mrs F. J. Cruickshailk and assistants. The name of Miss Perry should be added to that of the St. John Ambulance collections.
