POLICY.

To the Editor.

Sir, —Please allow me space to reply to a letter appearing in this morning’s paper under the heading “Support the Coalition.” I agree with him when he says that for some time past the majority of electors have felt that it is time to put aside party politics and concentrate all efforts in an attempt to rehabilitate the affairs of the Dominion. He also states he considers the electors should now show they were in earnest on this matter. We have also had an appeal from the Coalition Government to sink party interests. In my opinion that is just what this country wants. If party interests were cast aside the electors will be free to think clearly for themselves and decide purely on policy regardless of party. On election day let us all vote for the candidate whom we consider has the best policy for the recovery of the affairs of this country.—l am, etc., NEW ZEALAND FIRST ALSO. November 23, 1931.
