SOUTHLAND POWER BOARD RATING.
To the Editor.
Sir, —Some months ago this board proceeded against Mr G, A. Hamilton, of Lowther, claiming full rates on his property. The hearing of the case was reported, but so far as I am aware the Magistrate’s reserved decision has not been made public in your columns. I shall be glad to know what the decision was and whether there was any special reason why it should not have been published. I am anxious to know, as Mr Hamilton’s position is the same as mine—both of our dwelling houses being over four miles distant from the nearest source of supply.— I am, etc., H.
