FLORA AND FAUNA
BRITISH GUIANA SPECIMENS. (British Official Wireless.) (Rec. 5.5 p.m.) Rugby, December 7. The report of the Oxford University Explorations Club’s expedition for an investigation of the flora and fauna of the tropical forests in British Guiana states that the party was in the bush for four months and secured more new specimens than any previous expedition. Bird abservers had posts on tree tops 126 ft high. The collections brought back include more than 10,000 insects, 500 miscellaneous invertebrates, 87 mammals and over 200 reptiles and birds.
