COAL DISPUTE
A SETTLEMENT ANTICIPATED. (British Official Wireless.) Rugby, December 7. It is taken for granted that at the Glasgow conference of the joint Conciliation Board of representatives of the owners and the miners, an agreement, will be reached under which work will be resumed on the Scottish coalfields on Monday. COLLERIES NOW WORKING. (Rec. 7.40 p.m.) London, December S. The Scottish miners resumed work after meetings in the chief areas of Midlothian and Haddingtonshire.
