BANK OF IRELAND
A SENSATIONAL HOLD-UP.
BANDITS ESCAPE WITH LOOT.
(Rec. 5.5 p.m.) London, April 19. A message from Dublin states that a sensational hold-up occurred at Tipperary at the Bank of Ireland in the centre of the city at mid-day. Two young men drove up in a motor-car, entered the bank and ordered eight customers and bank officials to hold their hands up and face the wall. Under cover of the revolvers the other man scooped up the money and both escaped in a motor. —Australian Press Association.
