CAPTAIN CAMPBELL’S ATTEMPT. ((Rec. 5.5 p.m.) London, April 19. Referring to Captain Malcolm Campbell’s attempt on the land speed record, Major Segrave said: “I wish him the best of luck.” He did not express any opinion as to his chances, but motoring experts in London do not anticipate a new record. —Australian Press Association.
