DUNEDIN’S ARCADE
SUPREME COURT ACTION CONTINUED.
(Per United Press Association.) Dunedin, April 17. In the Supreme Court to-day the Royal Arcade case was continued when the company claiming the property, called further evidence in support of its claim. Old residents of the city testified that barricades in the form of chains or gates were at one time placed in the Arcade and that shop owners who displayed their goods on the footpath in front of their premises, were never prosecuted. Former tenants said they always understood that the Arcade was private property.
The case will probably be concluded tomorrow.
