GORE BOROUGH COUNCIL
ELECTION CANDIDATES. Several further nominations for the Gore municipal elections are announced. On Saturday the candidature of Mr D. McDougall, M.P., as a councillor of the south ward was lodged. ..The proposers were: Messrs A. McKinlay, F. J. Murray, C. F. Windle and E. A. Pigeon. It is also understood that Mr T. Sim has decided to offer his services for a further term as a representative of the south ward. It is also understood that Mr A. Davidson, who after representing the west ward for a number of years, did not seek election at the last poll, has decided to contest this year's election for councillor.
