SIMON COMMISSION
ARRIVAL IN INDIA. NATIONALIST DEMONSTRATION. Delhi, October 12. Sir John Simon and the members of the Commission received a warm reception by the representatives of the Indians on their arrival at Bombay from England. The quays were guarded by the police, but on entraining the Commissioners were hooted by the Nationalist demonstrators, who carried black flags and posters inscribed, “Simon go back."—Australian Press Association*
