TWO PILOTS UNINJURED. (Rec. 7.45 p.m.) New York, October 11. Captain Levin’s attempt to fly to Rome ended in*.disaster. His Bcllanca Columbia, very heavily laden, crashed in the golf links two miles from Curtis Field. It was unable to rise over the tree-tops. The two pilots were unhurt, but the plane was badly smashed and strained.—United Service.
