NEW HARD METAL
DISCOVERY IN AMERICA. New York, October 11. The General Electric Company announces the discovery of a new combination of metal called carbloy. It is so hard that it cuts steel and glass. It will cut the screw thread in a glass rod and bore a smooth hole in black concrete. It will also shave cleanly the hardest steel. —United Service.
