INDUSTRIAL PROBLEMS
RECOMMENDATION OF CONFERENCE. GOVERNMENT ACTION URGED. (Per United Press Association.) Napier, June 25.
The Hawkes Bay Agricultural and Pastoral Society this morning resolved to circularize all similar societies in the Dominion with a request for support for the resolution for presentation to the Prime Minister: ‘‘That the joint recommendations unanimously adopted by the representatives of both primary and secondary industries at the recent industrial conference be given effect to; the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act be amended accordingly, and that each society join in urging the Prime Minister to give the force of the law to the recommendations.”
